Zambesi Basket with Lid

This unique vessel has been woven by hand with close attention to pattern, form and colour. Crafted using durable elephant grass, the artists add water to soften the grasses enough to sculpt it into it’s organic and unique shape. Coloured stitching then covers the entire vessel giving it a unique personality. It has multiple uses but the main function is to bring beauty to your interior space.

The Zambesi basket has a flat base, straight sides and tapers upwards to a narrower opening. Horizontal stripes in brown, white and black against a neutral background are complimented by the flat lid which features a loop handle.

Useful for laundry and storage but as mentioned previously this basket’s main purpose is to be admired.
